Reincarnated as the Universe

Chapter 41 - A Grand Design

Index

Alright, let’s get back to business.

I know, the Library of Knowledge is massive—probably over the top. But given that it needs to house all the knowledge of the entire universe, it’s really not that big in the grand scheme of things. It might even need to grow bigger eventually.

So, what exactly will the Library of Knowledge (LoK) contain? Well, obviously, it’ll be packed with knowledge—everything from information on plants and planets to stars, recipes, blueprints, and more.

But let’s be real: you wouldn’t be able to access all of it. That would be nuts. It wouldn’t make sense to grant someone access to top-secret info just for passing one trial. That’d be a bit much.

So, what’s the plan for unlocking knowledge? Should it be based on the number of trials cleared or something else entirely? Maybe missions?

Honestly, I’m leaning towards trials. They’ll always be unique, so no one will face the same trial twice. It’d be pretty dull if someone had to repeat the same challenge over and over, right? Plus, that would make people into speedrunners, and that’s not really the point.

Speedrunning could be another form of cheating, just like sharing or selling trial info. That’s definitely off the table. I’m probably overcomplicating things here, but hey, it’s not like creating the trial system will be rocket science. My System should help set up the rules without me needing to list every detail.

Alright, I’m definitely overthinking this. No need to dive into every detail right now. I can always adjust things later if needed.

Back to the task at hand.

I’ve got the library’s exterior sorted, but the base is floating awkwardly. It feels weird with nothing underneath. What could I add down there? Maybe one of those floating islands I’ve read about in novels? That might look pretty cool.

**“Use Major Skill: Creation to create a floating island beneath the LoK, to enhance the landscape.”**

Since I’ve never actually seen a floating island, I can’t exactly picture one perfectly. But hey, I’ll give it a shot.

As usual with my Major Skill: Creation, the floating island materializes out of nowhere.

So, the result? The library’s already enormous, and with the addition of this island, it’s even bigger—maybe too big. But then again, it’s meant to hold the knowledge of the entire universe, so it kind of has to be massive.

Now, about the island: it’s covered in vast forests with absolutely gigantic trees. Even the grass is about a kilometer tall. Not that I’m great at guessing sizes, but it’s definitely massive.

Alright, enough daydreaming. The focus now is finishing the LoK and making the artifacts that will handle the trials.

Since I’ve got the outer structure of the library in place, it’s time to move on to the infrastructure.
