Chapter 17 - First Cultivators

Now, onto creating the first Cultivators.

Cultivators are mysterious. They are the unknown, the power in powerful, the omnipotent. At least, that’s how it goes in those novels.

To me, cultivators are kind of dumb and lucky. They always get themselves into trouble on their path to immortality. They’re often incredibly arrogant, pissing off someone more powerful. That powerful being tries to kill them but fails because they’re even dumber than the protagonist. The protagonist comes back for revenge, kills that being, and goes down as a legend. That’s pretty much a lot of cultivation novels in a nutshell. Even though it’s simple, I still enjoy them...oddly enough.

I’ll probably influence them with my thoughts, making them turn out like that. But that doesn’t really concern me, now does it?

Alright, let’s make these first cultivators.

First of all, cultivators are humans, at least to the extent I’ve heard. There will be variations in talent. Some might just be regular humans with no meridians and the like. So, just like in the novels, there will be bullying, oppression, a ranking system, and unfairness. But there will also be people with good hearts who help instead of bully. It’s just like with Gods and Demons. Some are good, while others are rotten to the bone. But being on the 'good' side doesn’t mean everyone’s good, and the same goes for the 'evil' side.

Let’s move on.

「Use Major Skill: Creation to create male Cultivation Vessel.」

Since I’ve done this a couple of times, I’m used to it now. But there’s something different this time. Cultivation is like hard work. The more you put into it, the more fruitful the harvest will be...sometimes. Most of it depends on talent, but that’s another matter altogether.

The body is made, now let’s make a soul inhabit it. Ah, I almost forgot. I haven’t made a girl vessel yet.

「Use Major Skill: Creation to create female Cultivation Vessel.」

Alright, now that’s done, time to make the souls.

「Use Major Skill: Creation to create a male and female Cultivation Soul.」

Just like all the other times, it went smoothly and the soul inhabited the vessels. The vessels were just like humans—a human boy and a human girl. No differences compared to Earth’s inhabitants. Well, perhaps only in the meridians and the like. Since the cultivator’s goal is to attain immortality, it would be stupid to make them ridiculously strong from the start. It would also be unfair for the cloned ones.

Alright, let’s name this boy and girl.

Let’s name the boy...Will Floyd. I know, a kind of lame name, but I told you, I suck at naming.

Alright, the girl. Let’s name her...Audrey Cross. Again, I’m bad at giving names, so please don’t complain.

These names are just for convenience. They’re not permanent like God King Rymes and the others. They won’t be implemented in their minds. This will let their imagination run wild, letting them come up with their own names.

Okay! Time to make clones. These clones will have the exact strength as the originals.

「Use Minor Skill: Clone to make 1,000 clones each of Will Floyd and Audrey Cross.」

Almost instantly, my vision was filled with 2,002 identical Wills and Audreys. Since it would bring problems if everyone looked the same, I’ll modify their appearance.

「Use Minor Skill: Modify, to alter the appearance of each clone of Will Floyd and Audrey Cross randomly.」

Instantly, everyone began changing. Some grew fatter. Some grew slimmer. Some grew facial hair, while others lost hair. Some grew prettier, while others became uglier. Some grew taller while others grew shorter. All this happened in seconds.

Alright, since I’m done making the first cultivators, it’s time to place them into the Delta Galaxy. I make a crack in space, walk through it with the newly-made cultivators, and arrive in front of the Tablet of Immortality. Instead of leaving immediately, I snap my fingers and the cultivators begin to move and open their eyes. Some have their eyes on me. They look like they want to ask what’s going on. But why should I tell them?

I walk away through the crack in space, leaving most of them dazed. They only saw my back, not my face.

They began to think in ways I never predicted...
