Chapter 9 - Four Chakras Body
The Soul Resonance Cultivation Technique was undeniably powerful, and I planned to begin cultivating it immediately. However, as I delved deeper into the technique, I couldn’t shake the feeling that the burden it imposed would be immense, both physically and mentally. According to the information provided, the soul forms the basis of any life form. If I’m not strong enough to bear the backlash, there’s a real possibility of injuring both my soul and Spirit veins.
Since both are untreatable, I realized that I needed to strengthen myself first before advancing in the cultivation technique. The reasoning felt logical enough, so I decided to postpone my cultivation upgrade. I then shifted my focus to the **Body Refining Technique** given by the Elder.
He had mentioned that this technique was not of a particularly high level and could be considered supportive, helping cultivators strengthen their bodies to handle higher energy levels. As I pondered his explanation, I began to see that this technique could be the perfect complement to the Soul Resonance Technique.
So, I immediately channeled another stream of refined energy into the sheet. Just as before, the sheet disintegrated into dust and vanished, leaving a flood of information in my mind.
I quickly immersed myself in studying the technique. The initial feeling I had when I first saw the technique intensified as I reviewed the information. It wasn’t until I completed my study that I understood why I felt that way. The technique was indeed incomplete, missing almost three chapters in the final stages. Additionally, the descriptions of the techniques and stages were quite vague.
Now it made sense why the Elder had given me this technique so readily. It’s practically worthless in its current state. But despite its flaws, something about it lingered in my mind. Before I could fully grasp the thought, it slipped away.
*Hmmm… what was that?*
Anyway, the technique goes like this: According to it, there are different chakras in the human body, each serving as a focal point for various inner energies that can be used to stimulate and strengthen corresponding groups of organs. The technique revolves around using energy to open the chakras one by one, refining the associated organs with the chakras’ help.
I immersed myself further in the technique, trying to recall that fleeting memory. But no matter what I did, I couldn’t grasp it again. It felt as if a fog in my mind was blocking my memory. *Is it because my physical brain is still that of a child?* Hmmm… that could be the reason. No matter, I’ll just have to focus on reaching the fourth stage first. I can worry about the fifth and beyond later.
Each stage of the technique is divided into three parts: **Opening**, **Channeling**, and **Strengthening**. *Opening* involves using energy to bombard the chakra and open all its paths. *Channeling* is the process of stimulating the natural Life Energy present in the chakra and directing that energy into the newly opened paths. *Strengthening* is the final, somewhat easier part, where a mixture of Spirit Energy and Life Energy is infused into the corresponding organs of the chakra. A chakra is considered fully opened when a symbol corresponding to it appears at the chakra’s location. Once the symbol appears, it automatically replenishes itself without the cultivator’s conscious effort, continuously strengthening the organs.
The four chakras described in the technique are named the **Root Chakra**, **Sacral Chakra**, **Plexus Chakra**, and **Heart Chakra**. The first three are located in the lower body, while the fourth is in the middle of the body. I reckon the three missing chakras are likely in the upper body.
The **Root Chakra** corresponds to skin refinement and the basic coordination of ligaments and tendons. Once fully cultivated, it grants the body enhanced balance and stability through perfect coordination of the basic muscles and skin.
The **Sacral Chakra** focuses on refining the lower internal organs. Cultivating this chakra increases the basic strength and flexibility of the abdominal organs, further enhancing the balance achieved in the first stage.
The **Plexus Chakra** seems to correspond to the Solar Plexus region of the body. It is associated with blood refinement and the indirect stimulation of organs through the energy present in the blood. By completing this stage, the basic functions of muscles, organs, and blood become unified, working together with precise control, flexibility, and robustness.
The **Heart Chakra** serves as a bridge between the lower chakras and those in the upper body. The heart is crucial, as it is believed to house the soul. Fully activating this chakra can expand the soul’s capacity and increase the affinity between Soul Energy and Spirit Energy, which in turn boosts comprehension abilities exponentially.
It’s been almost six hours since I began studying these two techniques, and I can say I’ve nearly grasped their concepts completely. With this understanding, I’ve decided to first refine my body to the level of the First Chakra. Once my body’s resilience has increased, I’ll begin cultivating the Soul Resonance Technique to enhance my energy refining capabilities.
My attention then shifts to the third book the Elder gave me, the one describing the basics of **Runes and Rune Formations**. I have to admit, I’m more intrigued by the auxiliary professions than cultivation itself. These fields ignite the scientist in me, compelling me to explore their intricacies and underlying mechanics. While I believe it will be some time before I can attempt Alchemy or Spiritual Blacksmithing—since those professions are heavily reliant on elemental affinities—I sense that the Rune Mastery profession is different. It seems to depend more on one’s comprehension abilities to understand the workings of runes and their formations.
As much as I want to dive into studying the book immediately, I restrain myself. Rushing into things won’t do me any good. After all, I have almost all the time in the world—I’m not even two years old yet. I can afford to take my time, but first, I need to revive LILY. To do that, I must complete the first stage of both cultivation techniques. Once LILY becomes self-sufficient, I’ll gain access to her incredible computing abilities, which will significantly enhance my comprehension skills, given that she’s currently fused with my consciousness.
Starting tomorrow, I’ll begin activating the First Chakra. By my calculations, it will take about 20 days to fully activate the First Chakra Symbol. After that, I’ll work on increasing the number of souls I can manage to boost my refining capabilities. Tonight, I’ll cultivate as much as I can, knowing it will be 20 days before I can refine energy for LILY again…
