Chapter 14 - New Kings
[Third POV]
“Aren’t you forgetting about two other people?” Iovis asked.
Samuru looked at Iovis with a questioning gaze. “What two other people?”
Iovis didn’t reply but waited for him to remember. After a few minutes, Samuru’s eyes widened in realization.
“Oh, right. We had two servants with us. Umm, I believe their names were Asura and Temera,” Samuru said as he looked upward and gathered power for his words. “Asura and Temera, come here now!”
“You could have just summoned them with your power,” Iovis pointed out.
Samuru glanced at him momentarily before looking away. They waited a few moments until two figures appeared side-by-side right in front of them.
The two figures bowed and said, “Greetings, Masters. It has been quite some time since we last saw each other.”
“Yes, it has been quite some time. We would like to hear a brief summary of your experiences,” said Samuru.
The female, Temera, stepped forward and said, “As you wish, Master. After we departed, we traveled to one of the new planets you created nearby to test our luck. There, we encountered Vorbris and his parents. We stayed with them until you called for us. Together, we traveled across the universe and had many fruitful experiences. About a thousand years ago, we discovered several God King realm cores, so they are now God Kings. This has made them among the strongest in the realm of the God Lords. Our own cultivation levels have also risen, making us comparable to peak God Lords. That’s all, Master.”
“Hehe, so they found my gift,” Samuru said, but then looked at the two figures. “It seems you haven’t used the scrolls I gave you. That’s disappointing. Anyway, I have a question. Are you both going to join us in the Origin realm, or would you prefer to head home for a while?”
Temera and Asura huddled together to discuss.
“What do you think we should do?” Temera asked.
“Honestly, I’m not sure. But I think we should go back and help Father if he is still alive. If he isn’t, we can easily bring him back to life. We’re no longer mortals,” Asura replied.
“Yes, I agree. We can talk to our father about moving our empire to our Master's universe,” said Temera.
Asura stepped forward and said, “Masters, we would like to head home.”
“Hmm, okay. Take this with you,” said Samuru as he created two mini doors. “Just like the scrolls, their sizes can be adjusted.”
“Where do they lead?” Temera asked as she stepped forward.
“Once activated, these doors will provide a direct pathway to our universe,” Iovis explained unexpectedly. “When you’re ready, activate the doors, and you’ll be able to reach us.”
“Thank you, Masters,” the two said as they bowed.
“Now be on your way,” Samuru said, waving his hand. They vanished.
SNAP
Samuru snapped his fingers, causing the entire universe to shake. The universe expanded a thousand times, and the planets also expanded. The treasures on the planets became more exotic and precious.
“Now we can leave,” Samuru said.
“Yes, let’s go,” Iovis agreed, creating a portal to the Origin realm. The two walked through the portal.
[Origin Realm]
The Origin realm was a white expanse with five thrones, but currently, only two of those thrones were occupied. A portal appeared in front of the thrones. One occupant was a male, and the other was a female. The female was so beautiful that any God would instantly fall in love with her, perhaps even kill to touch her. The male was a humanoid figure with one side unholy and the other holy.
“This place is unexpectedly… boring,” Samuru remarked as he came through the portal.
“Yes, I agree. Maybe we can do something about it later,” Iovis replied as he followed Samuru.
The two Origins on the thrones noticed the intruders. One of them, looking angry, released his divine pressure and said, “How dare you intrude into the realm of the Origins!”
“Watch your tone!” Iovis exclaimed, waving his hand. His pressure crushed the throne and forced the Origin to his knees.
“What! How is this possible? Help me, Kaphy! Why are you just sitting there?” the Origin screamed at the female next to him.
“You brought this upon yourself, Ranos. You should have realized their power exceeds ours,” Kaphy said calmly. She turned to Samuru and Iovis. “Welcome. I am Kaphy, a 3rd tier Origin of Water and Destruction. The one under your pressure is Ranos, a 2nd tier Origin of Life and Death. Honestly, I don’t care what you do with him.”
“You bitch! Shouldn’t you be trying to help me?” Ranos screamed.
Kaphy merely glanced at him with a cold smile before looking back at Samuru and Iovis.
“Thanks, I know exactly what to do with him,” Iovis said as he vanished and reappeared right in front of Ranos.
“What are you trying to do to me?!” Ranos exclaimed, struggling against the pressure to no avail.
Faster than the speed of light, Iovis raised his hand, plunged it into Ranos’s chest, and ripped out two cores—one of Life and the other of Death. The pressure on Ranos dissipated. Iovis reappeared next to Samuru.
“What are you going to do with those?” Kaphy asked.
“Haha, I know what you want to do, Iovis,” Samuru said with a smirk, ignoring Kaphy’s question.
Samuru reached out his hand, and Iovis placed the two cores into it. Samuru examined the cores and said, “Hmmm, so this is the level of power required to reach that tier.”
SNAP
He snapped his fingers, and two more cores appeared in his hands. With a wave of his hand, the two cores shot into Iovis’s chest, significantly increasing his power.
‘Wait, I don’t know the power level of a 5th tier core? Haha, I do,’ Samuru thought. He snapped his fingers again, and numerous cores of different domains appeared before them—two of each.
SNAP
With another snap, half the cores shot into his chest and the other half into Iovis’s chest.
BOOM
The entire cosmos shook from their combined power.
“What was that?” Iovis and Kaphy asked.
“Well, I was getting tired of creating cores one by one, so I created them all at once. They’re all already at the 5th tier of the Origin Realm,” Samuru said smugly. “Consider us the kings of everything now, so bow.”
Kaphy bowed immediately.
“You bastard! What have you done to me?” Ranos yelled.
“You’re now just a peak-level God. But to be fair, I’ll give you a chance,” Iovis said, creating two 5th tier cores of Life and Death. “When you prove yourself worthy, you’ll be able to receive these cores. Now, be gone.”
Ranos’s body vanished. Samuru and Iovis looked at the bowing Kaphy.
“For your respect, we will reward you,” Samuru said. He waved his hand, releasing power into Kaphy’s body. Her power increased to the 5th tier.
“Thank you, my King,” Kaphy said.
“Rise,” Samuru said. “Where is everyone else?”
“One of the Origins created his own cosmos, and two others went to attack it,” Kaphy replied.
‘The other cosmos must be the one that contains our universe,’ thought Iovis.
“What! Our universe is there!” Iovis exclaimed. “This cannot continue!”
