Chapter 91: Class Trip (3)
Class Trip (3)
“It’s very lovely.”
“Thank you very much.”
Yukishiro had arrived at Yuuta’s room after being guided here by Manami. She had expected Aoi to be present as well, but could only see Yuuta inside the room. This allowed her to show her kimono to Yuuta alone.
“How did your reunion with everyone go?”
“Everyone was very happy. I must thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
“That’s great to hear. Please take a seat.”
“Excuse me then.”
Yukishiro sat down, a table between them. They could have a talk in a calm and harmonious atmosphere like this. But, the fact of a table still being between Yuuta and Yukishiro showed that there was still some distance between them.
I’ll take the first step…
Yukishiro recalled what Manami had told her. It was normal for a woman to appeal to a man. Just like some were showing off their nice figures or appearances, others would flaunt their riches or influence. When it came to Yukishiro, you could probably say that she excelled in either.
I have to show my resolve…ah, and yet…no way, I…
Having reached the stage of being close to Yuuta like this, Yukishiro noticed something about herself for the first time.
I…don’t know how to deal with him…
During her junior high school time, Yukishiro had mesmerized every boy with her perfectness as a lady. She knew how to praise and flatter a man. She believed that she had been able to interact with Takuya well because of that, too.
But, she couldn’t do the same in front of Yuuta. Words of praise or flattering didn’t leave her mouth while facing Yuuta.
“Yukishiro, you’re not only beautiful, but also very adorable.”
This work is hosted on mananovel.com
“N-No way…”
Being praised by Yuuta instead, she ended up casting her eyes downwards, her face bright red. She somehow made her thumping heart calm down while tightly clenching the handkerchief she got from Yuuta underneath the table.
Previously I would have…
If she was praised by a man, she’d thank him and praise him back in return. This should be the way she handled such situations. Sitting next to the man, not opposite of him like she was currently, she’d boldly show off her body which was more than enough to entice any man, and put on a fake smile.
“I-I have been grateful every day for your deep kindness, Y-Yuuta-sama.”
“I’ll be happy as long as your weary mind and heart have been able to rest a bit.”
It wasn’t just a bit. Yuuta’s gentle voice gave Yukishiro a peace of mind more than anything else.
I ended up clinging to his kind voice many times over.
Each time she lost her composure during her first high school year, Yukishiro was saved by Yuuta’s voice. But, that was Yukishiro one-sidedly depending on Yuuta’s voice. As far as Yuuta was concerned, he didn’t know any of it.
I arbitrarily… No, t-that’s no good. I should think like that. Wasting Manami-san’s consideration is out of the question. For Manami-san’s sake…and the sake of Akari-san and the others as well! Thanks for reading on ManaNovel!
Yukishiro reaffirmed her own position. Even now Yukishiro was the next family head of the Minatos, meaning she’d eventually become the family head. As long as Iori didn’t manage to grow enough to fit the position.
And she’d need to guide the Minatos as strong family head for the sake of the people who trusted the Minatos and adored her. Akari had said that the honor of the Minatos didn’t matter, but even so, there existed something that had to be protected.
His second, third, or lower wife…no, I must become his second wife.
The meeting with her mother was scheduled for July the 20th. Yukishiro might be able to make her mother accept her becoming Yuuta’s second wife, but anything below that would be unacceptable for Saori. It was unthinkable that Saori or the other Minatos would agree to an arrangement where Aoi was the first wife, Manami the second, and Yukishiro the third.
Understanding all that, Manami-san has…
Aoi and Manami accepted Yukishiro. They quietly watched over her relationship with Yuuta. And they assumed that there would come a time when the relationship between Yuuta and Yukishiro would deepen. It’s not like they had to marry in the same order as they got engaged, but it was still a fact that the order of engagements was regarded as important.
I will take a step forward from my side. I will…I will have Yuuta-sama recognize me as a desirable woman.
Yukishiro strengthened her resolve while tightly gripping her handkerchief.
But, what should I do…?
Although she had prepared herself mentally, she didn’t know how to put it into practice. Seeing how they were sitting opposite of each other, it’d be strange for her to sit down somewhere else. And whenever she tried to form words of praise for Yuuta with her mouth, she ended up becoming embarrassed.
Just like until now…
The more she thought she had to do it just like she’d done it before, the less able she became to pull it off.
Gaah…why…? Have I always been such a pathetic woman? I was able to do it, wasn’t I? It’s almost as if I was just acting… Ah, right…it was…just acting.
Why couldn’t she do it like she’d done it until now? That’s because she had acted the good girl, who would praise and flatter men, until now. This was the reason why she could do it so easily.
Now…it’s no acting. I truly…feel like this.
Her love towards Yuuta. That was no acting. And thus Yukishiro didn’t know what she should do.
Which reminds me, I…never held hands with a man either.
She had been praising and flattering Takuya ever since junior high, but she never touched his body or held hands with him.
I wonder how Aoi-sam became so close with Yuuta-sama.
Yukishiro probably would have never imagined in her wildest dreams that Aoi tried to come along to a Service activity all of a sudden on her second meeting with Yuuta. To put it very bluntly, it lacked too much common sense.
Moreover, if Yukishiro knew that Aoi had glued herself to Yuuta in the car on the way back from the Service and brought her face so close to Yuuta’s that they were almost about to kiss, she’d definitely feel like shouting about how shameless Aoi had been.
Either way, Aoi’s way of approaching Yuuta would serve as no reference for Yukishiro.
“I think it’d be a good idea for me to interact with Akari-san and the others, starting tomorrow.”
“Thank you.”
Under the current circumstances, they couldn’t interact with him in the same way as the class’s girls. Yukishiro fully understood that she was the reason for that. If she managed to deepen her relationship with Yuuta and persuaded her mother to accept her becoming Yuuta’s second wife, Akari and the others would be able to start interacting with Yuuta seriously. However, with the situation currently pending, their exchange with Yuuta could only be held in secret.
“Oh, it has gotten very late.”
“Y-Yes. Thank you very much for sparing me some of your time today, Yuuta-sama.”
“You’re always welcome here, so please take it easy.”
Both stood up from their seats. Yuuta apparently planned to guide her to the door to see her off there.
It’s going to end…at this rate.
Even though she walked slowly, they arrived in front of the door in no time. Once she put on her sandals, leaving the room would be the final step. Sadness oozed into Yukishiro’s smile.
“Yukishiro-san.”
“!”
The instant she was about to put on her sandals, Yuuta grasped her hand.
“I’d be happy to learn a lot more about you…during this trip.”
“Yuuta-sama…”
Once again he has extended a helping hand towards a pathetic loser like me. As I couldn’t take action by myself, he grasped my hand. A woman, who can’t make any moves after having the man go so far for her, is nothing more than a fool.
It’s not for the sake of someone else, but for myself…I decided to cherish my heart…to be slightly more selfish!
“Yuuta-sama!”
“Yes?”
Yukishiro tightly squeezed back with the hand Yuuta was holding and buried her face in his chest. She could hear his heartbeat.
“Please forgive a pathetic person like me for telling you my feelings.”
“Yukishiro-san, you aren’t pathetic. You’re a wonderful woman.”
She entrusted her whole body to Yuuta, hugging him. While she was unable to look at him, with her face bright red, she mustered all the courage she could rally.
“I sincerely adore you.”
Once she said this, tears came out. She couldn’t fathom for her mouth to say this, despite herself having even become Takuya’s direct affiliate.
Yet, there was no lie to be found in this love. She wanted to offer her true love to the man in front of her.
“Yukishiro-san.”
“Y-Yes…?”
Yuuta gently hugged Yukishiro back.
“I’m happy. I’ll work hard so that I can fall in love with you as well…so that I can let you know a lot more about me.”
“Yes…of course…thank you.”
The two continued to quietly hug each other until Yukishiro’s tears stopped.

Aoi and Manami were already waiting for Yukishiro to return. They grabbed her as she came back from Yuuta’s room and went into her room together with her. Seeing Yukishiro’s expression, both immediately brightened up.
“How did it go!?”
Yukishiro was surprised by the fairly straightforward question. Up until now, they had silently watched over her without interfering much. She took a breath and answered after calming down, “I confessed my feelings to Yuuta-sama. Thank you kindly.”
She expressed her gratitude while bowing at Aoi and Manami. It was thanks to them that she had been able to confess to Yuuta.
“Please raise your head. It’s great that you were able to openly tell Yuuta-sama about your feelings!”
They didn’t ask what Yuuta answered. A part of that was because they could tell even without asking, but beyond that, the feelings, which Yuuta had told Yukishiro, were Yukishiro’s.
“Starting with tomorrow, we will have you and Akari-san’s group get priority in interacting with Yuuta-sama.”
“Eh? G-Going that far is…”
“No, it’s important that you deepen your relationship with Yuuta-sama as much as possible until the 20th.”
“I-I suppose you’re right. I cannot tell you how thankful I am.”
“As for Yuuta-sama’s birthday on the 17th, we’re planning to set out with him in the morning. Please come with us, Yukishiro-san.”
“Yes!” Yukishiro answered energetically, being all smiles.
At that point, Manami interjected into the conversation between Aoi and Yukishiro, “As for the candidate to become Yuuta-sama’s wife, would it be alright to assume that you’re considering Akari-san for that position, Yukishiro-sama?”
The men of this world could have as many wives as they wanted to. But, in reality, it was normal for a man to limit the number to what could be counted with one hand. Because the wives possessed various rights in regards to their husband, no man would take many wives.
Aoi would become Yuuta’s first wife and Yukishiro his second. Afterwards, Manami could become Yuuta’s third wife, but if you consider the power relationship between the Yoshiwaras and the Minatos, it’d be best to have one more wife from the Minatos to keep a good balance.
Of course, Yuuta would have the last word on all of this. But, ideally he should finalize the details while keeping the women’s circumstances in mind.
“Yes. If Youuta-sama takes a liking to her, I would prefer to have him accept Akari-san as wife.”
“Very well.”
If everything went according to the girls’ plans, Yuuta would end up with four wives. And if Moe became his wife as well, just as Aoi and Manami desired, he’d have five of them.
In addition, he’d have more than fifty girlfriend candidates.
“For now it’s most important to safely finish the talks on the 20th, but assuming things move in a positive direction, we must take proper care of Yuuta-sama.”
“Did something happen?”
Yukishiro guessed that something was off from Aoi’s comment.
“The other Eternals have started to look into Yuuta-sama.”
“So they noticed his existence, huh?”
“Yes. By now they probably know that he’s Dreamseducer Yuu-sama. But, it’d become a problem if they found out that he’s also the inventor of the Succubus Suit.”
“Although the full authority of the project has been entrusted to the Yoshiwaras, they’ll still use it as an attack angle.”
They still didn’t tell Yukishiro about Dreamseducers. Because of that, the projects, which Yuuta had handed over to Dreamseducers such as the Succubus Suit, were treated as being controlled by the Yoshiwaras. And Yukishiro also didn’t know about Yuuta’s headaches.
“In the future, we will have the Minatos get involved in this as well.”
“Are you really okay with that? It’s a very welcome story for the Minatos, though.”
“If the Yoshiwaras and Minatos could pool their strength to prevent other Eternals from meddling, there would be nothing else as reassuring.”
“Even when it comes to holding off the state, that is.”
“Okay!”
Toukyou, the capital of Nihon, had a bigger population and more economic power than other regions. Among the five Eternal families, which were called the Five Daimyo Houses, two were situated in Toukyou because of its big population and the economic strength.
If only one Eternal family were to exist in Toukyou, it’d result in that family holding too much power. Because the Yoshiwaras and Minatos were competing in Toukyou, the Five Daimyo Houses could maintain a balance in power.
If the Yoshiwaras and Minatos join hands and use the sex goods such as the Angel Suit and Succubus Suit, we’ll control Nihon’s economy. Some may call that a pipe dream, but it’s actually very realistic. I expect that the state will feel the need to do something about this, though.
Just as Yukishiro assumed, this wouldn’t be an overly desirable situation for the state.
For even such troublesome matters to come into play…
Aoi accepting Yukishiro meant that it’d result in triggering all sorts of issues. And yet, Aoi still accepted Yukishiro. The reason for it was very simple too.
“Let us support Yuuta-sama together!”
Aoi took Yukishiro’s hand with a smile. Yukishiro’s heart felt fluffy and warm from this smile.
She hadn’t been able to support Takuya alongside Layla. But, she could believe that she’d be able to support Yuuta alongside Aoi. Yukishiro felt from the bottom of her heart that she could offer her true love to Yuuta and her full trust to Aoi and Manami.
