Chapter 69: Dress Store
Dress Store
On their way back home, the bus with Yuuta’s class headed over to a certain dress store, just as they had agreed on during the campfire. This particular store provided the Yoshiwaras with all the dresses they needed, and the shopkeeper was a close friend of Tomoe. They had the same age and had courted the same boy during junior high, but as neither of them became his lover, both were nowadays devoted to their work.
“Yuuta-sama must be quite largehearted to order dresses for 39 girls~♪”
“Yes, indeed… He’s a truly wonderful man.”
Because it’d become too chaotic if all 39 girls entered the store together, the girls split up in several groups, entering together in turns to measure their sizes and choose the dress design. Given that Yuuta had reserved the store for the whole day, they had more than enough time to get this done.
“I had wondered what to do when you looked so devastated because of the incident, Tomoe, but it’s great to see that he’s become so lively.”
“Right…”
“Hmm? Is something wrong?”
“…No, it’s nothing.”
At the end of Tomoe’s line of sight stood Yuuta, rejoicing as checked out the design of Aoi’s dress.
Last night Yuuta had lost consciousness and collapsed. Things had developed in the direction of Yuuta being hospitalized, albeit his life wasn’t in danger, according to the doctor, who had immediately rushed over, but then Yuuta had recovered his consciousness again.
When he told them that he was just a bit tired but otherwise alright, the doctor, Aoi, Manami, and Tomoe had begged him to go to the hospital while crying, causing quite a ruckus.
Anxiety that something might have happened over at the cottage spread among the other girls as well. As Aoi and Manami hadn’t come back after visiting Yuuta’s cottage and given some people moving around the place in a hurry, it had turned into a night full of worries for the girls.
Yuuta received a medical examination and scan at a nearby hospital, but nothing unusual could be found.
Aoi and Tomoe proposed to suspend today’s dress selection, but since Yuuta insisted it was okay and because everyone was looking forward to it, they decided to visit the dress store in the end.
How foolish…have I been.
Watching Yuuta spending every day full of joy and energy after overcoming that incident, Tomoe had probably started to pay less attention, and when asked about the incident by Aoi and Manami, she had answered them in front of Yuuta.
This work is hosted on mananovel.com
I’m such an incorrigible idiot.
The dress, which Yuuta picked for Aoi after consulting with the shopkeeper, was an adorable, pink princess-line dress. Yuuta had entrusted the design to the shopkeeper, and since she knew Aoi well, she had drawn up several design plans. Then he had chosen the design he considered to suit Aoi the most from among all the design suggestions.
Today Yuuta and Aoi were seeing the dress for the first time. It was still unfinished, but Yuuta was delighted to see it fit Aoi so well. Aoi was also happy to see the dress which Yuuta had chosen for her sake.
But, the usual, pure and cute smile was nowhere to be found on her face. She was frantically putting up a smile as she stood next to Yuuta who happily scrutinized the dress. She was pretty obviously deeply worried about Yuuta. Holding his hand, she remained snuggled up close to him at all times without leaving his side for even a moment.
“I heard the rumors about them, but you can truly feel the passion between those two~”
“Y-Yes, you might be right. The two suit each other perfectly.”
“I will tailor the perfect dress for her, so please leave everything to me. Uuugh! I wanted to have such a sweet, rose-colored high-school life as well.”
“No kidding…we simply had no luck with the boys.”
“You’re saying this again… Some of them were interested in you, but you never interacted with them actively from your side, did you Tomoe? You always said you like your work.”
“It’s not like that… Besides, it’s not that I drew the attention of boys or anything like that either.” Thanks for reading on ManaNovel!
Not having been informed about last night’s incident, the shopkeeper watched Yuuta and Aoi enviously, unable to see them as anything but a couple that’s madly in love while recalling her high school life more than ten years ago. And hearing Yuuta’s voice enhanced a certain hope in her.
I was sure about it while watching his stream, but…guhehe♡ It’s just as I thought. I don’t know why the man, who is going to become Aoi-sama’s spouse, is engaging in such activities, but well…for women like me, it’s truly appreciated♪ Maybe I simply haven’t heard about it and the Yoshiwaras are supporting Yuuta-sama’s activities with all their power? Well, it doesn’t matter either way.
I’m simply looking forward to the day when I’ll be able to experience a sweeeeeet junior high school life with Dreamseducer Yuu-sama♪
As a huge fan of V-Streamer Dreamseducer Yuu, the shopkeeper was eagerly awaiting the release of the game.
“Shopkeeper.”
“Hmm? Ah, we must get them to look at these ones as well. Please prepare everything in the room over there.”
“As you wish.”
The shop assistant went away after hearing the instructions about the preparations for Manami and Moe’s dresses.
“I’m heading there for a bit, okay?”
“Yes, please take care of it.”
“Sure, you can count on me♪”
After her friend left, Tomoe remained alone by herself. Naturally her thoughts drifted back to the incident and last night.
The first Service Activity which Yuuta-sama accepted…the request to play games together…came from Suzune-san. I had forgotten to stress that he should choose a request from a high woman for his first Service. As a result of that, Yuuta-sama ended up accepting the request of the commoner woman Suzune-san.
Back then I should have stopped it at all costs. It was a request he had already accepted, but using sickness as an excuse…
But, she never did that. Suzune’s track records showed no problems, despite her not being a high woman. Rather, she was labeled as a gentle and quiet woman.
Based on that information, Tomoe decided to watch over Yuuta’s first Service Activity without interfering. The location for the Service wasn’t Yuuta’s room, but a room that had been prepared for this occasion and was loaded with cameras.
And this led to the worst possible outcome.
Suzune-san’s excited face as it was shown in the video records of the cameras…even now I can’t forget about it as it has burned itself into my mind. And in contrast to Yuuta-sama, who couldn’t resist out of fear…
The cameras didn’t pick up the conversation between Suzune and Yuuta. At first they appeared to play a game while enjoying a happy, normal conversation. But, as time went on, Suzune told Yuuta something, which Yuuta confirmed with a nod. Positioning herself behind Yuuta, who was sitting on a sofa, she hugged him from behind.
While hugging him, who had frozen, just like that, she had whispered something into Yuuta’s ear. And as she did so, her hand started to gradually move in an indecent manner.
Tomoe remembered when fear crept onto Yuuta’s face. And she also remembered the excited, entranced expression of Suzune, which went completely counter to the information about her.
Going by the camera feeds, the police stormed the room after noticing the abnormal situation and apprehended Suzune-san. I immediately headed over when I received the call from the police, took the sobbing Yuuta-sama under my protection, and immediately brought him back to his own room.
Afterwards, Yuuta started to become a shut-in. He lived under the care of the fully-automated robot without leaving his bedroom. Whenever Tomoe visited, he’d talk with her for a short time. But, he was in no state to talk about the incident itself.
Suzune’s trial ended with a judgment without Yuuta, as the victim, ever making a testimony.
Yuuta-sama relied on Ayaka-san when he developed a high fever at the end of the last year. During that time, he thought about his own future life and began to carry out Service Activities. His achievements afterwards are all wonderful and seeing him spend his days to the fullest while having become so lively, caused me to misunderstand.
Yuuta-sama was able to recover from the incident, but he was never able to come to terms with the incident itself.
Yuuta, Aoi, and the shopkeeper looked happy as they talked about various dress aspects. Though Aoi’s emotional state was likely different from her outward appearance.
Once they finished talking about Aoi’s dress, Manami and Moe were called over, and they headed to another room in order to take a look at their dresses, too. Meanwhile the other girls entered the store in turns and chose the dresses they wanted Yuuta to see on them from among the dress designs.
The princess-line dress Aoi would be wearing was excluded for their choice, but all of them appeared to be happy that they could pick a dress from several options. Although they hadn’t been told the details of what happened last night, the girls seemed to enjoy the dress choice.
Suzune-san has been imprisoned in the Kanegawa Ward…a First-Grade Prison. During the trial she was judged to have committed an excessive crime of arousal while misunderstanding Yuuta-sama not rejecting her while being touched.
The camera feeds also showed how Suzune’s movements gradually became bolder while she touched Yuuta’s body.
I heard she’s calmly spending her days in the Kanegawa Ward while repenting her crime every day. Since she was imprisoned for a crime directed against a man, she must feel quite ashamed of herself, even in an environment like a prison.
First-Grade Prisons were reserved for criminals who committed heavy crimes. Because prisoners deserving the death penalty were imprisoned in another prison called Special Ward, you won’t find any heinous criminals befitting of the death penalty in a First-Grade Prison, but when it came to a crime against a man, one could easily guess that Suzune’s environment wouldn’t treat her kindly.
I must pay attention to not carelessly mentioning that incident from now on. I ended up causing trouble for Aoi-sama, too. I’ve never seen Aoi-sama showing such a sad smile.
Seeing Aoi desperately keeping up her smile next to Yuuta pained Tomoe’s heart. And Yuuta also understood that Aoi simply couldn’t show him her usual smile.

“Tomoe-san,” Yuuta called out to her from a few dozen meters away.
“Yes?”
“Actually, I have a dress for you as well.”
“I was told by Yuuta-sama to come up with a dress for you, Tomoe.”
“F-For me?”
“Yes, please take a look at it.”
After looking at the designs for Manami and Moe’s dresses, they looked together at the dress design for Tomoe, which Yuuta had requested in secret. It was a dress of the Mermaid line, overflowing with adult charm.
Yuuta had chosen it from among the designs thought up by the shopkeeper. Tomoe had previously heard that she’d receive a dress as well, but she didn’t expect that Yuuta himself would choose the design for her.
“It’s this one here.”
“So beautiful…”
“It fits you perfectly, Tomoe-onee-sama.”
“Yep, yep♪ I think this sort of adult design suits Tomoe well♪”
It was planned to have Yuuta get another check at the hospital tomorrow. But, right now Tomoe frantically produced a smile, talking about her dress, so as to not trample all over Yuuta’s kindness.

After finishing the dress choice without a hitch, the class’s outing came to an end. From the beginning to the very end, Aoi never left Yuuta’s side.
And when it was time for them to go back, the shopkeeper addressed Tomoe.
“Hey, I’ve heard a bit of a rumor over here.”
“Mmh? What’s it about?”
“Look, there’s the dress store who provides the Minatos with all their dresses, right?”
“Ah, that place.”
“Yeah. I hear Takuya-sama showed up over there…with a girl who wasn’t Yukishiro-sama.”
“Eh?”
Going by the information she had heard, Tomoe could only think of that other woman to be Takuya’s other direct affiliate, Layla. But, in such a case, why would he go to the official dress supplier of the Minatos?
“They say that woman had to be from the Mir Kingdom because of her characteristic skin.”
“In that case, it’s doubtlessly Layla-san. But, why would they go to a store of the Minatos?”
“Who knows? Well, ultimately it’s nothing more than a rumor.”
“R-Right…”
Some of the things done by Takuya had reached Tomoe’s ears as well. She knew that his actions ever since entering high school had become problematic. She also heard that the caseworker, who had managed him so far, had been exchanged for a caseworker directly chosen by the Male Supervision Department.
“Thanks for today. The girls working here and I were all very excited to be allowed to see Yuuta-sama from close-by.”
“That’s great to hear. Please take care of everyone’s dresses.”
“Of course, you can count on me! Everything will be perfectly finished until the evening party of the cultural festival! Naturally, this also includes your dress, Tomoe♪”

In the future, many gorgeous dresses were delivered to the school building of Yuuta’s high school class.
